Hunkemöller opens its webshop for European customers

Hunkemöller, the largest high-street lingerie brand in the Benelux, is expanding its webshop for European customers. It already has local webshops in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, but now there is an international site for customers abroad. Site visitors can select five different languages and orders can be shipped to a total of 17 countries.

The European webshop had quite a silent launch in the Netherlands, where it was laterally mentioned in a press release. But maybe that’s because an European webshop isn’t that interesting for their Dutch customers, who can already order lingerie, swimwear, nightwear and more.

But the pan-European webshop launch isn’t the only news Hunkemöller had to announce. The last couple of months they’ve also worked hard to boost the brand and service experience for customers. One of the ways to achieve this, is by introducing a new loyalty program called Passion Points, which is exclusively for members. Passion points can be earned by spending money in both he brick-and-mortor-store and the online store, but the points can also be earned by liking posts form Hunkemöller on Facebook. In the near future it also will be possible to earn points by writing reviews on a online purchased article.

Click & Collect
But there is more. Hunkemöller announced the introduction of their new online reservation system called Click & Collect. With this, customers in the online shop can set apart their favorite articles and pick them up in one of the many Hunkemöller stores in town. In the store they can try and put on their clothes and send back the things they ordered online but want to return.

Emma Bonar, Head of E-commerce Hunkemöller: “Our multichannel strategy is all about customer convenience. We give her access to all products, anywhere and at any time of the day. As long as she has access to the internet, the customer has access to our entire collectin. They can decide when and how they will receive and pay their order.”
