Startupbootcamp Commerce, an accelerator program which focuses on ecommerce, has selected ten international startups to participate in the international accelerator. Among these companies are eight startups from Europe that will go through the three-month program.
Last Wednesday, out of more than 400 applications internationally, twenty startups that are active in the commerce and retail industry were invited to pitch their ideas. At the end, ten of them were selected to participate in the Startupbootcamp Commerce. They will start with the accelerator program on February 19.
From this day on, they will start with the first workshops, mentor-matching sessions and discussions with partners and investors. The startups will have access to a local and international network of ecommerce and retail players, so they can further improve and upscale their proposition. On May 18, during DemoDay, the startups will present their companies to the general public.
These are the ten startups that participate in the Startupbootcamp Commerce:
3D Click (Spain)
This Spanish company offers an online platform for 3D packaging. It let users customize their 3D packaging model, share it with others and validate it with AR.
Bundleboon is a Dutch startup, which offers an online personal shopping service for children’s wear. According to them, their goal is to “take away the hassle from busy parents and the endless dressing room shenanigans”.
Deko Eko (Poland)
Deko Eko is a company, which focuses on upcycling and ecology. It converts waste into precious objects, such as clothes, furniture and toys. It does this through an ecommerce website.
GoSherpy is an app dedicated to help people save money so they can achieve their dream goals. It lets users set up a saving plan to trigger micro-savings that the app automatically puts aside for the users’ goals. Interesting about the app is that users only pay a 3% commission if the piggy bank breaks before it reaches its savings target.
Jetlink is a chatbot development agency. It offers an AI-powered messaging platform, so retailers can have sales and support experiences where their customers are. “To bring back the intimacy that we lost with ecommerce”, the founders say.
This Belgian company wants to empower and retain retail employees by making learning fun. MobieTrain is a platform which combines scientific training techniques with gamification and pre-defined content to drive sales.
Orbit is an app which uses AR to convert 2D-written concepts into 3D. This allows users to interact with these images via a user-friendly interface. Its aim is to revolutionize the learning process for students all around the world.
PointCheckout (United Arab Emirates)
PointCheckOut is an startup that lets users spend points and miles when they are shopping online. This payment gateway for loyalty points should bring online retailers a whole new set of online shoppers.
PredictLeads is a subscription-based tool, aimed to help sales teams with finding new leads and prospect, so they can close more deals. It finds relevant company news from various sources.
