Welkoop was named ‘DHL Best Online Store of the Year 2023’ at the annual Dutch Shopping Awards. The shop, which sells garden and pet products, also took first place in the ‘Pet’ category. Online seller of sleeping products, Cloudpillo, was the winner of the PayPal Best Starting Shop Award.

The winners of the largest competition for online retailers in the Adriatic region were announced yesterday. In total, 361 online stores from Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia entered the competition. The Best Retailer was awarded to Slovenian Bigbang.

In the seventeenth edition of the BeCommerce Awards, Bijenkorf.be was awarded with The Becommerce Award. It can now call itself the best Belgian online store for a year. It competed with four other nominees for this title.

Ecommerce giant Amazon has launched the second edition of the Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards. The competition supports European innovative startups. The winner will receive the 'Startup of the year' prize of 100,000 euros.

Online store PcComponentes is the absolute winner of the Ecommerce Awards Spain. The popular online tech store won the prize that's meant for a company that achieved excellence in both its online and offline strategies, marketing, its adaptability and its great results.

Picnic, the popular online-only supermarket from the Netherlands, has won an ecommerce prize in Germany. At the Shop-Award 2019, the company went home with the award for Retailer of the Year.

The winners of the FDIH E-handelsprisen 2018 were revealed and online supermarket Nemlig.com won the main award. At the same event, Too Good To Go was rewarded with the title of best newcomer, while the 19-year old Daniel Johannesen was named the best ecommerce entrepreneur.

Last Monday, it was time for the Shop-Award 2018, an award show organized by Internet World Business. This event praises the best online stores in Germany and other German-speaking countries. This year's edition saw ecommerce companies such as About You and Mymuesli go home with the coveted trophies.
