Ecommerce fulfillment and customer service provider Salesupply is launching a hybrid AI chatbot. It is meant to reduce customer service costs for online sellers, while also improving customer experience. Soon, the company wants to implement the technology in mail and telephone customer service inquiries as well.

PayPal was the most used online payment method among German online shoppers in 2023, like the year before. However, the American company saw its share of the local payment market decrease. Buy now, pay later services are on the rise.

Asos has suffered a significant loss in turnover, down by 18 percent in the first half of its fiscal year. The British pure online player has taken drastic measures and believes that, partly due to faster production processes, it will be able to return to profitability in the next fiscal year.

Online shoppers in Germany return 11 percent of all of their online purchases. The younger generations in the country return items more often than older ones. They mostly return items because the size does not fit or because the product is damaged.

Online sales in Italy are estimated at 80.55 billion euros in 2023. This is an increase of 27.14 percent compared to a year before. On average, Italian online stores grew almost 29 percent in terms of turnover.
