German online marketplace Crowdfox announced yesterday the figures of its growth in the business-to-business industry. Sales of its B2B platform have doubled in the last quarter. This confirms the company’s high ambitions at the beginning of this year as well as the strategic decision to further expand its B2B business.
According to the press release [pdf], the scaling potential of the product range is also clearly visible: at the end of last year, there were around 400,000 products available on the website and as of today, there are 5.7 million articles.
20 million products on Crowdfox Business
“Our B2B platform is growing extremely fast”, says founder and managing director Wolfgang Lang. “By the end of this year, approximately 20 million products will be available on Crowdfox Business. We are currently also looking for the next 100 top suppliers. These are carefully chosen based on to the efficiency of their delivery processes and their competitiveness.”
Crowdfox was founded in 2013 and officially launched in 2015. The platform features dealers who don’t need to pay a fee to have their products listed on the website. As a result, consumers get prices that are said to be lower than on other online marketplaces.
