CS-Cart releases renewed marketplace software

Ecommerce software provider CS-Cart has released a new edition of its marketplace software, called Multi-Vendor Plus. The solution, aimed at lager marketplace businesses, has several new features for both online marketplace owners and vendors.

CS-Cart develops software for creating online multi-seller marketplaces and the more traditional single-seller online shops. Since it was founded in 2005, the company has over 35,000 online stores worldwide using their ecommerce software.

Over 500 ecommerce features

Its most important solution is the marketplace system called Multi-Vendor. Today, the company released a new version of this solution, called Multi-Vendor Plus. “It has over 500 must-have ecommerce features for both marketplace owners and vendors, such as convenient money distribution system, separate micro-stores and dashboards for vendors, detailed built-in analytics and subscriptions plans for vendors”, Yan Kulakov of CS Cart tells us.

Mobile shopping app

‘Plus’ has more features and is also more expensive than its flagship solution Multi-Vendor. The software is aimed at larger marketplaces with bigger income and budgets. One of the new perks is that users can now offer a mobile shopping app for their customers, just like acclaimed marketplaces such as eBay and AliExpress do.

Marketplace owners can also set lower vendor commissions for low-margin products and a higher commission for high-margin products. And if a new vendor is going to sell something that’s already listed by another vendor on the marketplace, the first vendor can use the existing listing with a different price and quantity.

Customers can pay for products separately

Marketplace owners can also hide functions and settings from a vendor’s dashboard or allow them to modify the look and feel of their micro-stores. Customers can also choose to pay separately for products from different vendors.
