Fashion search engine Glami expands to Spain

Glami, a search engine for fashion, has expanded its presence abroad. The Czech ecommerce company is now also offering its services in Spain. In this Southern European country, Glami partners with local fashion companies, such as Desigual, Merkal and Vero Moda.

Glami was founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs Tomáš Hodboď and Michal Jirák and it operates as an online fashion search engine. It currently features products from over 2,500 online fashion retailers.

Glami is all over Europe

The company is active in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, France, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and Ukraine. And now Spain has been added to this list. Glami also has plans to expand to Latin America, with a planned launch in Brazil in the coming months.

European website

Recently it launched its European website, Glami.eco. “Every day, we connect thousands of shoppers with hundreds of sustainable brands and online shops in one single location”, the company explains. “With help of smart categorization and filters for styles and materials, Glami significantly simplifies sustainable fashion discovery and shopping.”

200 million euros

This year, the ecommerce company will deliver sales worth 200 million euros for its partner retailers. Last year, the fashion search engine grew 100 percent year-on-year, with sales for partner retailers being worth 100 million euros.
