Feelunique launches subscription box

Feelunique, an UK online retailer of prestige beauty products, has launched a subscription box. The ecommerce company claims this is the first tailor-made beauty subscription box in the market.

Under the simple but effective name The Beauty Box, Feelunique offers its customers the opportunity to personally select the five products they want to receive each month. This allows consumers to sample products before buying bigger sizes.

Feelunique offers more than 180 product samples

Feelunique, which got acquired by Sephora last month, offers more than 180 deluxe-size (“no teeny-tiny sachets”) product samples from over 80 different brands. Customers can pick each of the five products from this extensive range, which features products from categories such as skincare, haircare, fragrance, makeup and bodycare.

Feelunique’s customers can purchase a single box.

Although The Beauty Box is a subscription box, customers can also choose to purchase a single box. If they want to subscribe, they can do so for 3, 6 or 12 months. A single box costs £13.95 (16.40 euros), the price for 3 months is £13.50 (15.9 euros) per month, for 6 months is £12.75 (15 euros) per month and for 12 months is £11.95 (14 euros) per month.

‘First fully bespoke beauty box subscription’

“Our Beauty Box subscription product is the first fully bespoke beauty box subscription on the market, and that personalization element, combined with the deluxe samples and unrivalled range of brands and products on offer, creates a truly unique and market-leading proposition that we are very proud of”, Sarah Miles, CEO at Feelunique, said.

Subscription box sector expected to grow significantly

Earlier this month, the UK Subscription Box Market report by Royal Mail forecasted that the subscription box sector will be worth 1.77 billion euros by 2025. Last year, almost 88 million boxes were delivered, of which beauty was one of the sector leaders.
