MoEngage named strong performer by Forrester

Customer engagement platform MoEngage has been named a strong performer in a Forrester study on independent cross-channel campaign management (CCCM) platforms. According to the Forrester Wave, MoEngage empowers digital markets with AI-driven insights.

Cross-channel campaign management is a part of marketing that’s focused on connecting with customers through several channels. Or, as Forrester defines a CCCM platform: “enterprise marketing technology that supports customer data management, analytics, segmentation, and workflow tools for designing, executing, and measuring campaigns for digital and offline channels”.

Forrested published a study focused on CCCM platforms.

The Forrester Wave on Cross-Channel Campaign Management, a guide for marketers evaluating multiple CCCM technology platforms, named MoEngage a strong performer.

Highest scores in several criteria

The insights-led Engagement Platform that raised 27.3 million euros in August, received the highest scores possible in several criteria, including AI, personalization, mobile engagement, digital intelligence and marketing performance management.

MoEngage empowers marketers with AI-driven insights.

“MoEngage empowers digital marketers with AI-driven insights”, Forrester writes, explaining that MoEngage has grown rapidly from its formation in 2014 as an mobile engagement automation vendor to its current focus on cross-channel campaign management.

The MoEngage platform bundles four main products

The company’s platform consists of four main products, that are all powered by Sherpa, its AI engine. They are Analyze, for customer insights; Engage, for cross-channel messaging; Personalize, for mobile app and web personalization, and Streams, for API-based data export. About 80 percent of MoEngage’s 400 CCCM customers use the solution for three or more channels, and 20 percent are enterprise organizations.

MoEngage expands across all geographies and vertical sectors.

At the moment, Asia accounts for almost 60 percent of its customer base, but MoEngage is expanding across all geographies and vertical sectors, primarily retail and ecommerce. Forrester: “MoEngage provides marketer-friendly analytics to personalize digital engagement not only for multiple mobile channels but also for web, ecommerce, social media, and online advertising. Its campaign planning, workflows, and email tools trail more mature solutions but are the focus of its ongoing UX redesign.”

MoEngage uses AI to identify the best customers

“While other platforms focus on enabling segments, cohorts, and audiences, MoEngage leverages its powerful AI-driven platform to identify the best customers to target with individualized messaging”, it concludes. Among MoEngage’s customers are McAfee, Samsung, Vodafone, Groupon and Flipkart.
