Obuv Rossii stores are now pick-up points for Wildberries orders

Wildberries, the biggest online retailer in Russia, has started a partnership with Russian footwear retailer Obuv Rossii. The physical stores of Obuv Rossii will operate as pick-up points for online orders from Wildberries.

Customers of Wildberries can not only pick up their online orders at an Obuv Rossii outlet, they can also try on clothes and return the items they don’t want to keep. The first pick-up points have started to operate already in 100 stores in Siberia and the Far East. These pick-up points are located mainly in the stores of Westfalika, Obuv Rossii’s key brand. The plan is to increase the number of joint pick-up points to 263 by the end of this year.

Obuv Rossii and Wildberries want 263 pick-up points by the end of this year.

About 100 thousand parcels delivery every month

Natalya Kulikova, head of Obuv Rossii’s financial services group says she’s glad to cooperate with Wildberries. “We have been developing the partner pick-up point project since 2018 and have achieved a stable figure of 90-100 thousand parcels delivered every month. This cooperation with Wildberries allows us to increase the number of issued parcels further, to attract additional traffic to our stores, to offer convenient servicing, and to enhance customer loyalty.”

Wildberries is looking for pick-up point partners

Wildberries is busy with getting closer to its customers. One way of achieving this is by opening pick-up points together with other retailers. Any person who wants to open a partnership pick-up point together with Wildberries can do it, provided there is a legal entity. Since this summer, customers can have their orders delivered to these partner parcel terminals.

“Now, we plan to significantly expand our chain by collaborating with other companies. It’s worth mentioning that we are ready to cooperate not only with such big companies as Obuv Rossii but also with individual entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises for which such cooperation can provide significant economic support due to Wildberries’ big customer traffic – we send over 780 thousand orders per day”, says Vyacheslav Ivashchenko, Chief Business Development Officer at Wildberries.

In August last year, Obuv Rossii started a similar partnership with Ozon, a big generalist online retailer in Russia.

We send over 780 thousand orders per day.
