Otto offers next day delivery service for free

Online retailer Otto has further expanded its delivery service. Customers who place an order before 8 PM can have their order delivered to them for free the very next day. The next day delivery service is effective immediately for over 12,000 products.

These products are items that are suitable for so-called one-man handling, such as smartphones, vacuum cleaners and food processors, OneToOne writes. As said, the service is free of charge and applies everywhere in Germany, expect for the islands.

Hermes takes care of the next day delivery

Customers from Otto can order products from Monday to Friday until 20:00 and have them delivered to them the next day. Orders between Saturday 15 PM and Monday 20:00 will be delivered to the customer on Tuesday. Delivery is done by Otto subsidiary Hermes.

Free next day delivery service

On its website, Otto hasn’t spread the news about the free next day delivery service yet. Currently, most products will be delivered within one or two working days, while heavy products, where two-man handling is necessary, take two to three days to arrive at the customer’s home.
