Palletways starts network in Hungary

The Palletways Group, an express palletized freight network that distribute to 20 countries across Europe, has further expanded its network. Together with independent transport providers, Palletways will launch a new network in Hungary.

With the new network, Palletways can offer deliveries and collections between Hungary and all of the twenty countries throughout Europe where the logistics company is present. Palletways has recruited several independent transport providers to form the network, which it will start with 11 members.

According to Post & Parcel, one of the members is Cargostar. This transport provider has a strong presence in Hungary and already transports over 400 pallets a day.

Domestica and international logistics services

Palletways will open a central hub in Biatorbagy, which is located near the city of Budapest. From here, the logistics company will offer several domestic and international services, including next day delivery, economy service, AM delivery, all with full track-and-trace.

“The last couple of months have been incredibly positive for the Palletways Network as we expand our coverage into four new countries”, Luis Zubialde , CEO of Palletways Group said, referring to the announcement earlier this year that it expanded into Sweden, Finland and Norway in partnership with PostNord.

‘International service is crucial element of this new network’

“This presents a fantastic opportunity for Palletways customers and members, who can now deliver to even more destinations across Europe. Hungary is also a rapidly growing market. As the 35th largest exporter in the world, the value of Hungarian exports accounts for 89 percent of Gross Domestic Product. Our international service will be a crucial element of this new network.”
