Shop-Awards 2020 winners revealed
The Shop-Awards 2020 were handed out. This award show is organized by Internet World Business and praises the best online stores in Germany. A total of 17 different online retailers won an award.
The gala event for the tenth anniversary of the Shop Awards had to be canceled by the way, due to the fear for the Coronavirus, which has already led to some ecommerce event cancellations in Germany and the rest of Europe.

Still, winners got announced and according to the jury, these winners convinced them by one thing: a maximum focus on customer needs. “It was again an impressive selection and a difficult choice”, jury member Stephan Tromp said.

215 dealers and brands applied for an award
A total of 215 dealers and brands applied for the different trophies this year, which led to 17 different winners. AO once again scored points with its delivery service and won in the ‘Best Customer Service’ category, while Rose Bikes won the first prize for best channel linking. Rose Bikes is also the only player with two awards this evening.
Bauerfeind ended on the first place for ‘Best B2B Shop’, while Protiq.com went home with an award for most innovative business model. Here are all the winners:
