SmartRoutes wants to expand across Europe

SmartRoutes, an Irish provider of delivery route planning software, has plans to expand its operations across Europe and the United Kingdom. It also plans to double its team for the second year in a row to meet the demand for its service.

The company, founded in 2017 by brothers David and Blake Walsh, helps businesses meet the demand of consumers for home-delivery with a solution to make route planning easier.

Revenue grew five-fold in 2020

Business is going well, as revenue grew five-fold in 2020. And now the Irish software company has announced plans to double its workforce, something it also did last year. SmartRoutes is looking for several business development and software engineering roles.

Aside from hiring extra staff, SmartRoutes is also planning to move to a new office, once the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. And if that wasn’t all, the Irish company also wants to expand its operations across Europe.

Aiming to become the leading route planning solution

For the coming years, it wants to establish itself as the leading route planning and optimization solution in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
