UK delivery platform Sorted hits £1 billion milestone

Sorted, a delivery software startup from the United Kingdom, has reached a nice milestone. The value of goods it has shipped to date has reached the 1 billion pounds mark. All in all, it was a great year for the startup, which saw its client base increase by 200 percent.

Sorted was founded in Manchester in 2010, but it took its first major clients only three years ago. Since then, it has become a global delivery experience platform, shipping goods to the value of 1.5 billion euros to 171 countries worldwide.

Software is live in 12 countries

The company’s software is now live in 12 different countries. Among its clients are brands such as Mulberry, Lush and Asos. “We have had a tremendous 2019 at Sorted”, founder and CEO David Grimes says.

‘Consumer expectations have never been higher’

“Adding Asos to our ever-expanding roster of clients, shows that our delivery technology is trusted by some of the planet’s biggest retailers. And consumer expectations have never been higher than they are now.”

For Asos, Sorted runs a large percentage of the fashion retailer’s distribution center delivery management in the United Kingdom. By the end of the year, Sorted will have helped Asos ship over 10 million parcels.
