Paymill Unite simplifies marketplace payments

Paymill launched its new product Paymill Unite today. It’s an all-in-one solution for everyone with an online marketplace. Paymill Unite enables merchants to offer credit card or debit payments to their buyers in an easy way. With the new product marketplace owners are also able to connect to other Paymill merchants, create transactions on behalf of the connected merchants and take commissions.

Paymill has been launched in Germany in August 2012 as a Rocket Internet company. Some see it as a Stripe clone, but whatever you have to say about it, Paymill is gaining more and more ground in Europe. What started in Germany, soon expanded to 34 countries in total within Europe. Last additions to the list of supported countries are Bulgaria, Romania and Gibraltar.

Now it launched Paymill Unite, which integrate credit card and debit payments into their customers’ marketplaces. There are no monthly costs, only charges per transaction (2,95% + €0,28). “With Unite we take the next step towards our goal to enable everyone to easily accept payments on their websites across Europe”, says CEO and co-founder Mark Henkel.

When Paymill United is integrated in a marketplace, its owner can transfer money directly to his connected merchants and collect fees for himself. “The intuitive developer friendly API, the rapid on-boarding process, the highest security standards, the broad offer of more than 120 currencies and the transparent pricing all combined with comprehensive and friendly customer service sets Paymill apart from other online payment solutions. Paymill is the first provider to have brought this simple, user friendly technical solution to Europe”, the company says.
