The investment was led by Primary Venture Partners and includes participation from Commerce Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures and New Enterprise Associates. It’s not the first time the company secures money, the total funding raised by Shoptalk now exceeds 4.68 million euros.
Speakers represent established retailers and startups
Aside from the funding news, the organization also confirmed some speakers. According to Shoptalk, these speakers represent established retailers as well as startups. And the organization behind the event is serious about making the first European edition one of many to come. The Danish ecommerce association FDIH even stopped its own event and invited members to attend Shoptalk Europe instead.
