Zooplus is the best online store in Germany

Online pet supply store Zooplus has been chosen as the best online store in Germany. The German company left online perfumery Flaconi and music store Thomann behind, while it also won a Deutscher Online-Handel Award in the category Fast-Moving Consumer Goods.

Zooplus won the award based on a survey, organized by  the Cologne Institute for Retail Research, among over 8,000 consumers in Germany. Esprit, Notebooksbilliger.de, Conrad, Musikhaus Thomann, Erwin Müller, Dänisches Bettenlager, GartenXXL, HSE24 and Zooplus ended as the top performers in their industries.

Zooplus ends with 91 of 100 points

Across all seven sectors, the online stores of Zooplus, Flaconi and Thomann got the highest values in the ECC Online Shop Index. ECC Köln asked consumers to rate 79 different online stores based on 53 individual criteria. Based on seven factors, website & usability, assortment, service, price, payment & checkout, delivery, customer retention, Zooplus ended with 91 of 100 points, ahead of Flaconi (88.1) and Musikhaus Thomann (87.9).

Last year, it was Musikhaus Thomann who ended as the best online store in Germany, while in 2014 Zooplus won the award.
