Lesara is Europe’s fastest growing company

Lesara, an online fashion and lifestyle store from Germany, has been named the fastest growing company in terms of revenue. The German discount retailer won the Tech5 award during TNW Europe. During the last two years, the company grew by 7,950 percent.

Lesara was already Germany’s fastest growing company at Tech5, an event from The Next Web which ranks young, fast-growing companies based on relative growth of revenue in the past two years. The competition ran in six European countries: Germany, Sweden, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Spain.

Lesara beat four other nominees and had to compete with Acast (from Sweden), Finexkap (France), Kano (UK), Tiqets.com (the Netherlands) and Subasta De Ocio (Spain) during the TNW Conference, which took place in Amsterdam last week.

Europe’s 30 fastest growing companies

The Next Web published a list of Europe’s 30 fastest growing companies in revenue and it’s clear why Lesara was the number one. With 7950 percent its revenue clearly increased harder than the sales of number two, Foodpanda (5048%). Furthermore, it’s interesting to see that the top 5 of the European Tech30 list consists solely of German companies.
