Vente-Privée acquires Polish shopping club Złote Wyprzedaże

French private-sale group Vente-Privée has again acquired a fashion player in Europe. Yesterday it announced it attained a majority stake in Złote Wyprzedaże, the biggest online shopping club in Poland. With the acquisition, Vente-Privée expands its activities in Eastern Europe.

By buying the majority stake, Vente-Privée (which is now called Veepee) is now the owner of a company that is considered a key player in the Polish online fashion retailer industry. Złote Wyprzedaże, which means ‘golden sales’ in Polish, offers clothing and accessories with great discounts. Sales are limited in time and every day, between 8 and 10 new sales go live on the website.

Expanding activities across Europe

Vente-Privée says the acquisition marks another strategic step in the dynamics of the company’s development across Europe. Over 3.5 million members of Złote Wyprzedaże will now get access to over 6,000 international brands at discount prices. It’s clear to us Vente-Privée has done many acquisitions over the years, because its founder and CEO Jacques-Antoine Granjon says almost the same thing about this acquisition as he did a couple of months ago, when his company took over the Danish competitor Designers & Friends:
