Amazon says it launched the new store to offer customers an “easy way to buy from small and medium-sized businesses through the convenient and trusted Amazon experience”. Amazon Storefronts features products from all types of categories, such as ‘Back to school’, ‘Halloween’, ‘Pet Supplies’ and ‘Books’.
One-stop shopping experience
“We’ve created a custom, one-stop shopping experience for customers looking for interesting, innovative and high quality products from businesses from all across the country”, Nicholas Denissen, Vice President for Amazon, said. “Amazon first invited businesses to sell on Amazon nearly two decades ago, and today, small and medium-sized businesses are a vital part of Amazon’s large selection and commitment to customers. We’re championing their success with this new store.”
With Amazon Storefronts, customers can browse through thousands of unique items, learn more about business owners and see the Storefront of the Week. The German version of Amazon Storefronts is available through Amazon.co.uk/Storefronts, while the German version can be visited via Amazon.de/Storefronts.
