Bol.com Select offers free delivery on all products

Bol.com, the popular Dutch online department store, made some changes to its paid Select model. Subscribers will now get free delivery on all products, regardless of the order value. Previously, Bol.com Select offered free delivery only on 300.000 selected products.

Bol.com Select is like Amazon Prime: members pay an annually fee and in return they get some nice benefits. Bol.com introduced this service in April of last year and since then slowly upgraded the perks.

Any item will be delivered for free

Now, Bol.com Select members can order even the cheapest products from the online store and get it delivered to them for free. They no longer have to look out for the Select label on the product page, any item of the 16 million products available on Bol.com is eligible for free delivery.

Several free delivery methods

And Bol.com Select members not only will get their online orders delivered to them for free, they can also choose several delivery methods when they buy one or more items of the 350,000 best-selling products on the website. If they order before 11:59 PM on working days, they will get their order the next day. They can also choose for delivery in the evening (between 6 and 10 PM), delivery on Sunday or even same-day delivery (orders before 2 PM get delivered between 6 and 10 PM). And if they order such an item before noon on working days, they can pick up the order the same day after 5 PM at one of 900 Bol.com pickup points at the Albert Heijn supermarket.

Having returns picked up at home

Bol.com has introduced Bol.com Select both in the Netherlands and Belgium, but in Belgium the service is cheaper (6.99 euros per year), as some perks aren’t introduced there yet. For example, in the Netherlands only, Select members can have orders, solely containing products that Bol.com ships itself through PostNL, returned for free by letting them get picked up at their homes.
