C&A opens online store in eleven EU countries

C&A, a leading fashion retailer in Europe, it boosting its focus on the ecommerce business. The company has launched a new EU shop, which has led to the fact this retailer now also delivers to customers in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden.

According to Andreas Hammer, director ecommerce Europe at C&A, the additional online store means the next big step in the company’s plans to expand its online activities. The fashion retail company is now active online in twenty countries, whereas it was active in only nine online markets before the launch of its new EU shop.

Eleven countries in Europe

In the new countries Croatia, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, C&A already has branches, while the online shop also serves Denmark, Finland, Greece and Sweden, countries were C&A is not represented. “We know that many people from these countries regret that they cannot order our fashion online”, Hammer says. “The launch of the EU Shop is good news for them.”

The EU Shop is written in English and have all prices quoted in euros, regardless of the local currency. The online offer and all prices are completely identical, no matter from which country the customer comes from.

Dedicated online C&A stores

Customers from Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland and Spain can keep shopping online at dedicated online C&A stores in the respective national language.
