Ecommerce software Oxatis raises €5 million

French ecommerce solution Oxatis raised 5 million euros from Arkea Capital and prior backers A Plus Finance and Omnes Capital. With the fresh funding, the SaaS-based ecommerce solutions provider wants to further expand across Europe.

Investor Omnes Capital issued a press release in French, quoting Marc Schillaci, the CEO of Oxatis: “This round of significant funding illustrates the dynamism of our development based on our ecommerce solution in the cloud. We have the ambition to quadruple our turnover within the next five years and strengthen our commercial actions in the four European countries where we operate: France, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy.”

Further growth in Europe

Oxatis wants to grow further in Europe and it wants to do this with more B2B websites using its ecommerce software. These kinds of customers now account for 15 percent of the 12,000 subscribers it has and the b2b market is said to grow over 35 percent annually over the next four years.

It’s the fourth time Oxatis raised money. Since its establishment in 2001, the Marseille-based company raised a total of 14.6 million euros. Last week, Oxatis’ UK ecommerce solution Actinic renewed its ecommerce software.
