On Wednesday 25 of October, there’s another edition of Lightspeed Connect, an event where independent retailers get together to discuss the latest trends in the omnichannel industry. This event is meant for businesses that run a store online, offline or via both channels.
During this day, these entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to gain new knowledge about the retail industry that’s continuously changing. They can attend several keynotes, discussion panels or partner sessions for extra insights. In one day, they will learn more about how to achieve omnichannel success, what the power of technology means, how to deliver a personal customer experience and what kinds of sales strategies you could use.
Third edition of Lightspeed Connect
According to Dax Dasilva, the CEO and founder of the retail software provider, it’s a great honor to again announce an event like Lightspeed Connect. He says it’s their mission to help store owners using their passion and to be succesful. “We are active for over 12 years now and for us, this event is a perfect example of how we support entrepreneurs. This is already the third edition of Lightspeed Connect and at the end of the day everyone will undoubtedly be inspired and go home with new insights and ideas”, he says.
Theme of the Lightspeed Connect event
Last year, the main topic of the event was “the future of retail is now”. For this year’s edition, the focus is on “How to become the next big seller?”. And that’s no surprise as there is much going on in the retail industry.
Speakers at Lightspeed Connect
The event takes place in late October, but the organization already announced a number of speakers. The first confirmed names are: Dax Stokman of ETQ, Mark de Lange of Ace & Tate and Daniel Gebler from Dutch online supermarket Picnic. More names will be announced later.

As said, the omnichannel event takes place on October the 25th and you can sign up via the Lightspeed Connect website. If you sign up before July 31, a ticket costs 99 euros.
