Fashionette launches new platform for luxury fashion
Fashionette just launched its new platform for luxury fashion. Fashionette AG is a German data-driven ecommerce group for luxury fashion and goods. The platform is a result of a collaboration with The Platform Group, with which Fashionette plans to merge.
Started as inspirational platform
The Fashionette Group already offers inspiration on their online platforms fashionette.com and brandfield.com. It also offered a small collection of clothing and accessories. Now, the group is going to sell a wide range of fashion and accessories.
‘Brands on the platform include Burberry, Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and more.’
The most important brands on the fashion platform include Burberry, Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Moncler and Valentino Garavani. A part of women’s fashion is already live. This month, men’s fashion will also be published on the platform, along with the rest of women’s clothes.
Realized in 4 months
Shoes, leather goods and accessories will see the light in January 2024. The project was realized in 4 months and started right after the announcements in April. The retailer has closed its product category of beauty products and now only focuses on luxury fashion. On the platform, you will find products such as shoes, clothing, sunglasses, jewelry, bags and more.
“On the platform, you can find shoes, clothing, sunglasses, jewelry, bags and more.”
Fashionette wants to expand its platform activities in the future, while striving to reach higher profitability through its platform activities. Currently, the group is in the process of a merger with online retailer The Platform Group. The process started in 2022, when The Platform Group became the main shareholder of Fashionette, with a 38.5 percent stake.
As a result of this, Fashionette AG is now able to launch its new luxury fashion platform. The groups want to grow in different industries and become a leading platform group in Europe.
