Fnac Darty launches premium delivery and support service
Fnac Darty has launched Darty+, an omnichannel subscription service for delivery, support and after-sales. It provides access to unlimited deliveries and gives subscribers daily support with the Darty Button.
After electrical retailer Darty was acquired by French retailer Fnac in July of last year, the Groupe Fnac Darty continues to roll out synergies between its two brands. Yesterday it launched its delivery and support services program Darty+, which is capitalizing on the success of the Fnac+ program, launched in October last year.
Free home delivery
Darty+ is based on unlimited access to delivery services, including 2-hour delivery from the nearest store. It offers home delivery with no minimum purchase, same-day home delivery and installation for large electrical appliances and large TVs, and 2-hour home delivery for all other products. Subscribers also get unlimited technical support for products, whether they bought them at Darty or not.
Building a joint Fnac Darty customer base
Darty+ and Fnac+ subscribers can now get unlimited delivery simultaneously for both brands. “This initiative is a major step toward building a joint Fnac Darty customer base”, the company explains. Customers of Darty wanting to take advantage of the extra delivery and support services, pay 49 euros a year.
