LiBiao Robotics opens hub in Frankfurt

LiBiao Robotics has opened a European headquarters in Frankfurt to bolster its growth ambitions on our continent. The new location offers a showroom and areas for demonstrations of the autonomous sorting robots.

“Frankfurt is the perfect location for our new European hub,” stated Xia Huiling, LiBiao Robotics’ founder and CEO. “As well as providing a base for our European sales and service teams, the new premises will be a place where logistics professionals can learn how LiBiao’s robots can improve their productivity and cost efficiency.”

A place to learn for logistics professionals

The opening of the new office in Frankfurt highlights LiBiao Robotics’ commitment to the European market, according to Huiling, adding: “It is further evidence of our plan to build on our success in Europe and continue to expand our activity across the region.” Worldwide, each year an estimated 30 billion parcels are processed using LiBiao technology by companies like China Post, Uniqlo, and Walmart.

Clients like Packeta, Hellenic Post, and Hunkemöller.

Sorting robot technology is on the rise when it comes to postal services, parcel services, and ecommerce fulfillment in Europe. Companies on our continent that already rely on LiBiao’s technology include Packeta, a major online fulfillment and parcel delivery business in the Czech Republic, and Hellenic Post, the state-owned provider of postal services in Greece. Reportedly, the Dutch lingerie retail chain Hunkemöller is a significant new European retail customer of Chinese LiBiao.

‘Our robots are more compact than others’

LiBiao’s sorting robot technology provides an alternative to the fixed tilt-tray and cross-belt conveyor-based sortation systems that have traditionally been used in parcel, post, and e-commerce operations. The company claims that their robots are more compact than other autonomous mobile robots currently on the market.
