Sales of online retailer Lesara increase by 175%

Online fashion and lifestyle retailer Lesara continues its strong growth path in its third year. Sales increased by 175 percent to a “high double-digit million euros turnover”, while the customer base grew to 1.5 million active customers across Europe.

Those are some of the highlights Lesara shared in a press release. The company, which was founded in Germany, also announced it has expanded its product range that now comprises over 70,000 products. Last month, Lesara reached a run-rate of 100 million euros in sales. More than 80 percent of these sales are generated via mobile devices and the Lesara shopping app.

Active in 23 markets

“Lesara is increasingly becoming a leading international online shop for low-cost fashion and lifestyle products”, says founder and CEO Roman Kirsch. His company is now active in 23 markets, after it expanded to France in February and the United Kingdom in June. Lesara has 200 employees who work in Berlin and its two Chinese locations, Guanghzhou and Shenzhen.

Between May and August this year, Lesara launched its first TV commercial in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
