Dutchies wins Best Starting Shop Award 2024
Last night, the Dutch Shopping Awards were presented for the 23rd time. It is one of the most prestigious award shows in ecommerce in the Netherlands. Dutchies, a new online store selling handmade leather phone cases and bags won the PayPal Best Starter Award.
The Shopping Awards is a well-known award ceremony in ecommerce in the Netherlands. This year, 29 people’s choice awards, 6 jury awards, the Ecommerce top-50 and the DHL Best Online Store of the Year Award were presented.
Shopping Awards 2024
The 6 jury award winners were determined by a professional jury, based on motivation and presentation of the nominees. There are trade awards for five themes at play in ecommerce. This year the themes were sustainability, b2b, marketplaces, new technologies, best ecommerce manager and best starter.

During the awards ceremony, the list of the fastest growing ecommerce companies was also announced. The list is called the Ecommerce50. This year, the top ten on this list are:

Best online store 2024
Last but not least, Welkoop took home the DHL Best Online Store of the Year Award, for the second year in a row. This has not happened since 2013, when Coolblue was named best online store at two consecutive editions of the Shopping Awards.
