Ingenico announces partnership with Hybris

Ingenico Payment Services and Hybris are working together. Via its own platform, customers of ecommerce software provider Hybris have access to end-to-end services from Ingenico, such as payment processing, alternative payments, fraud prevention and acquiring services.

The integration module from Ingenico Payment Services is available via the Extend marketplace of Hybris. It offers online merchants a global and ready-to-use solution for online payments which should saving them time and money. “With the ecommerce module, customers from Hybris can now implement cross-border strategies and take advantage of the international market”, the press release reads.

The module offers customers access to more than 150 international, local and alternative multi-currency payment methods. All big international credit cards, bank cards, fraud prevention solutions and acquiring partners via the Hybris platform are included.

With the Ingenico Payment Services plug-in for Hybris, customers get a multi-channel payment gateway, a solution that enables merchants to offer online shoppers their preferred payment methods, and a fraud protection tool.

International payment methods
Nico van Miltenburg, who’s head of Channel Partners Europe at Ingenico Payment Service, thinks the collaboration with Hybris is a logical step in the company’s international expansion strategy and expansion of their customer portfolio. “The new Hybris integration module enables online business to generate worldwide sales. This can be done by offer local payment methods through a global payment portal. We can offer a wide range of international payment methods and fraud prevention tools.”

Andre Dogan, director of global ISVs at Hybris, of course also happy with the partnership. “Thanks to this deal our customers can integrate payment methods into their online stores more easily. They can also expand their ecommerce activities quickly and safely to international markets.”
