Wine shop Neleman expands across Europe

Neleman, the online store of Dutch winemaker and merchant Derrick Neleman, is expanding further across Europe. The omnichannel company will soon open online shops in Belgium, Germany and Spain.
Neleman previously operated online with the domain Neleman.org, but it is now expanding its portfolio with local ecommerce websites.
Organic and vegan wines
The company makes wine in Spain that’s 100% organic and vegan. Its aim is to make “good wine to save the world”. It tries to achieve this by planting a tree in the Parque Natural de las Hoces del Cabriel for every 173 bottles of wine Neleman produces.

Neleman started the online sales of wine in 2014. It also sells it products through (brick-and-mortar) retail partners such as Hema, De Bijenkorf and organic supermarket Ekoplaza. The company also operates two physical brand outlets, both located in the Netherlands.
Online sales in 20 different countries
Neleman sells online in 20 different countries and due to the corona crisis the demand for organic wines has increased, it says.
