Wonnda has raised 1 million euros

Berlin-based startup Wonnda has raised 1 million euros in a pre-seed round. The product sourcing platform will use the capital injection to expand its network of manufacturers. It is also planning to incorporate more partners.

Wondda was founded in early 2022. In June last year, the company launched the beta-version of its platform. The startup wants to streamline the way brands and suppliers collaborate to bring new products to market.

Cumbersome process of sourcing products

The platform offers a complete digital product sourcing solution, where brands and B2B buyers can discover new products and manage their supplier relationships in one spot. “We experienced how cumbersome the process of sourcing and launching new physical products is ourselves. Many of the processes have not changed in 20 years and brands are still dependent on attending physical tradeshows, followed by inefficient email collaboration”, said Oliver Allmoslechner, co-founder.

More than 300 European manufacturers

Currently, Wonnda is working with over 300 factories in five main product verticals across Europe. More than 3,000 brands and B2B buyers have already been added to the platform. But the company wants to achieve more growth.

Wonnda will onboard packaging suppliers and service providers with the funding.

With the capital injection of 1 million euros, the startup will expand its network of manufacturers. It will also onboard new partners, such as packaging suppliers and service providers. Furthermore, the company will use the funds to continue developing the platform. “Our vision is to build the global ecosystem, where brands use Wonnda as their single source of truth when it comes to launching and scaling their product lines.”
