Mybudapester bears costs for orders outside EU

German online fashion shop Mybudapester.com offers its customers from outside the European Union free delivery and returns. These customers also won’t be charged extra for taxes, customs and freight surcharges on these international orders.

With this initiative, the online fashion retailer wants to reduce the barriers for customers that are located outside the EU. According to the company, a lot of customers are deterred from shopping at a German ecommerce website due to the additional high costs.

‘Making ordering for international customers as easy as possible’

“In order to be able to keep up with the market, we have to adapt more to our customers’ needs – not only in Germany“, co-founder Matthias Nebus explains. “We want to make ordering for our international customers as easy as possible from now on, so that they are also able to benefit from our exclusive designer products.”

Last year, the company announced it would focus more on attracting international retailers to its platform. Mybudapaster started as an online shop in 2015, after Andreas Schläwicke took over the company Budapester 25 years ago and expanded it into a multi brand store, but soon it enabled stationary retailers to offer their assortment on the platform.
