Ochama expands logistics in France

Omni-channel retail brand Ochama has announced that it will expand its pickup point network into France. It is also introducing next-day home delivery all throughout the country, for more than 1,000 selected products.

Ochama is a retail concept from the Chinese ecommerce giant JD.com. The company has been active in Europe for years. In 2021 it launched its first warehouse in Europe, in the Netherlands. European Ochama orders are packed and shipped from that automated warehouse.

Pickup point network around Paris

It also has a network of pickup points, which so far, has been launched in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Now, Ochama is doing that in France as well.

The company will leverage JD Logistics’ local warehouses

The pickup point network will be focused on the region around Paris. To enable customers to collect their orders the day after ordering, the company will leverage JD Logistics’ local warehouses in Paris.

1,000 products selected for next-day delivery

This also enables Ochama to offer next-day home delivery throughout France. More than 1,000 items are selected, including food and beverages, as well as electronics, home goods and more. According to the company, it is responding to a year-on-year increase of 172 percent in order volume in France between January and August this year.

“By streamlining fulfillment processes and maintaining a diverse range of high-quality products, Ochama is poised to deliver an even more seamless and efficient shopping experience for French consumers”, the company said in a press release.
