Orderchamp expands to Germany
Dutch wholesale marketplace Orderchamp has announced its expansion to Germany. It’s the fifth market where the B2B platform officially has a presence. It’s also active in the Benelux and France. After a soft-launch, Orderchamp will now open an office in Germany to further penetrate this market.
Orderchamp, which expanded to France in July last year, was already available for German retailers and brands, but it’s now expanding its German team and actively looking for a physical presence in this country. The online platform offers access to 25,000 retailers across Europe, who can buy products from over 1,500 different European brands.
Already 150 German brands available
Among these brands are 150 from Germany, including Blomus, Kerbholz, G. Wurm, Meyco Baby, and Hoff-Interieur.
2,000 German retailers already buy through Orderchamp
“Less than two years after our founding, the time has come for us to further expand in our neighboring country”, founder and CEO Joost Brugmans comments. “The German sales volume has quadrupled in the past three months and 2,000 German retailers are already buying from us. To give this a boost, we add new colleagues to the German team every month and we are currently looking at possible locations for our German office”, he adds.
The time has come to further expand in Germany.
“It’s important for us to only have brands on our platform that fit our vision. And retailers can stand out from the crowd through our carefully curated international product offering”, Brugmans says. “In this way, we also strengthen local retail, which has particularly suffered from the Corona crisis.”
Registration is free for retailers and Orderchamp allows flexible payment up to 30 or 60 days. And for orders over 250 euros, the platform handles the shipping costs, even if the retailer orders from several brands at the same time.
