Allegro brings tools and services to sellers’ stores

Allegro plans to make selected tools and services available to selling partners for use outside its marketplace. These include logistics, financial and advertising solutions. Partners will be able to use them to boost sales in their own online stores.

The company announced the plans during the first edition of Allegro Open, a conference in Poznań attended by thousands of representatives from the Polish ecommerce industry. “We are building Europe’s most partner-friendly ecommerce organization”, CEO Marcin Kuśmierz promised at the event.

According to the CEO, the company wants to help its partners build strong, stable businesses that effectively reach customers across all channels, both on and outside Allegro. “This is an innovative, globally unique approach.”

Platform verticalization

In addition to making its services available outside the marketplace, platform verticalization was another key topic at Allegro’s conference. The company wants to move from a horizontal platform model towards solutions tailored to specific industries.

Allegro aims to create specialized shopping experiences

In practice, Allegro will adapt its interface and purchasing process to the specific characteristics of individual categories, so that buying products such as car parts or cosmetics becomes as intuitive as it is in specialized online stores.

Seller protection and app store

At its conference, Allegro also announced the launch of a seller protection program, which will standardize support for partners. In addition, the company unveiled the Allegro App Store, an integrated platform giving sellers access to selected third-party applications.

Allegro’s growth

Allegro is the largest ecommerce player in Poland. The company is growing particularly fast internationally. The group’s gross merchandise value (GMV) grew by 13.7 percent in the first half of this year, compared to the same period in 2025. At the same time, its international GMV increased by 64.8 percent. In addition to Poland, Allegro operates its own marketplaces in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. It agreed to sell its operations in Slovenia and Croatia earlier this year.

‘We are becoming more customer- and partner-centric’

Operational efficiency is a key priority for Allegro, CEO Marcin Kuśmierz said when presenting those results. Large-scale investments in AI are contributing to this. This spring, Allegro entered into a partnership with OpenAI. Kuśmierz promised: “We are also continuing to increase our focus on accelerating growth and becoming even more customer- and partner-centric.”

Allegro XL

The Polish market leader is looking to support both customers and partners with the upcoming launch of Allegro XL, a delivery service for large and heavy products developed with logistics provider Rohlig SUUS Logistics. In addition to delivery, the new service will include unpacking, assembly, installation and the collection of used equipment for members of Allegro Smart, the company’s subscription program comparable to Amazon Prime.

Allegro is introducing a delivery service for large products

According to Allegro, the new service will “remove one of the biggest barriers to the development of online sales of large products and open this market to thousands of Polish businesses”.
