Amazon introduces charge for Prime users in the UK
Starting on September 18th, ecommerce giant Amazon will charge Prime members for same-day delivery in the United Kingdom. The fee will apply to orders under 20 British pounds (23.5 euros). Other delivery options will remain free for Prime members.
The online marketplace announced the change in an email to its Prime users in the United Kingdom. Previously, Prime members could select same-day delivery for free. Now, that is only the case when the order’s total is worth more than 20 British pounds.

Amazon is not the first company to raise its delivery charges. Zalando and H&M have already limited free delivery and introduced paid returns. German fashion seller About You also introduced a minimum order amount of 30 euros. Orders below that will be charged with a delivery fee.
