The Mobile Innovations Award is a new award show for the EMEA region, to celebrate the enormous growth and innovation in mobile technology. Last week, the awards got presented in the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London and we have the full list of winners.

Distance sellers in Austria have together sold products and services worth almost seven billion euros in the period May 2013 to April 2014. This corresponds to a growth rate of 8 percent compared to the same period last year. A new study shows 'dynamic development' and 'changes consumer behavior' in the Austrian distance trade during the period 2013/2014. Partly thanks to a booming mobile commerce industry.

As is common nowadays in almost all developed countries, Polish internet users also don’t limit themselves to a PC when making a purchase online. There is even one in every 25 users who has at least once done some online shopping using their e-book reader! Let’s have a look at the way Polish internet users are shopping online these days.

One in three of all sales that are made online in the United Kingdom take place on either a smartphone or a tablet. Visits to online stores via these mobile devices currently account for almost half of traffic. Especially in the apparel sector, mobile commerce shows strong numbers.

The mobile retail audience in Europe grew by 43 percent over the past year, with 20 percent of smartphone users visiting online retail sites and apps using their mobile phone. Also 1 in 7 smartphone users from the five leading European markets (the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain)have completed a retail transaction on their phone in a month.
