Salesupply opens new fulfillment center in Germany

Dutch fulfillment company Salesupply has opened a second location in Germany. The new center is fully automated, resulting in lower costs, a faster picking and packing process and more efficient storage. The growing demand for the business’ solutions required a new location in the country.

Second location in Germany

Salesupply is a Dutch fulfillment company operating in Europe. It has a network of more than 15 ecommerce fulfillment centers across Europe, Northern America and Asia. The company already had a location in Germany, but due to rising demand it needed to expand further with a second location.

‘Thanks to our platform we can offer delivery at local rates.’

“In ecommerce, especially in B2C ecommerce, consumers are extremely demanding. Especially when it comes to delivery costs and transit times. Thanks to our eFulfillment platform we offer our vendors fast delivery at local rates all over the world with one point of contact and one way of working. Enabling ecommerce businesses to compete like a local everywhere”, explained Timon van den Berg, director of Global Logistics at Salesupply.

Automated solution

The new fulfillment location is located in Dorsten, Germany. It is fully automated and according to the company, which results in lower fulfillment costs. Additionally, it gives online sellers better control over their stock with in depth analysis and reporting. The new location also has an automated packing machine. This gives customers the option to customize printing on the boxes.
