Tommy Hilfiger launches mobile app in Europe

Tommy Hilfiger has launched its first European shopping app. The mobile application is targeted towards seventeen European countries and supports four different languages. One of the things users of the Tommy Hilfiger app can do, is shopping looks directly from the brand’s Instagram feed.

The Tommy Hilfiger app also features the Hilfiger Club loyalty program. Members of this club will receive personalized messages, promotions and event invitations in the app. They will also have direct access to loyalty rewards.

Other features of Tommy Hilfiger’s European app are Shop-the-Look on Instagram – enabling consumers to browse and purchase from the company’s Instagram feed -, in-store item scanning, push and geo-fence notifications, wishlists, purchase history and a store locator.

‘Make every look immediately available to all consumers’

“Our mission was to democratize the runway and make every look immediately available to all consumers around the world” said Avery Baker, Chief Brand Officer at Tommy Hilfiger. “Our social channels amplify the dynamic, engaging story around our runway shows, and we wanted to take this to the next level with the integration of shopping functionality via a dedicated mobile app.”

The European Tommy Hilfiger app was built by PredictSpring, a company that was founded by a former Google executive in August 2015. The mobile shopping platform wants to smooth the tension in web versus app shopping on smartphones.

The Tommy Hilfiger app is available for download in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
