Dutch delivery service StoreShippers launches in Ireland

StoreShippers, a same-day-delivery service that collects and delivers from store, has launched its services in Ireland. The Dutch logistics company is now active in 7 countries across Europe.

The Amsterdam-based company offers its ship-from-store services in over 150 cities in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Ireland. But that’s not all. In the coming months, StoreShippers will expand to various new countries.

StoreShippers will soon expand to more countries.

‘Brexit made shipping to Ireland complicated’

“We service large and international retailers with stores in multiple cities and countries that need an international logistics network to roll-out their ship-from-store strategy”, co-founder Pieter Paul van den Hoven explains. “With Brexit, shipping to Ireland has become complicated, slow, and expensive. By using local stores you can have same-day and cost-efficient delivery.”

StoreShippers cooperates with local partners to collect online orders at connected stores. Bike couriers then deliver these orders, on the same day, at the customers’ homes.
