Vinted launches in Italy
Secondhand fashion marketplace Vinted has launched in Italy. This is the 13th market where the online platform from Lithuania has opened its digital doors.

Launching in Italy has been an obvious decision, the company says on its LinkedIn page. “And it’s an exciting step for us, as Italy is a fashion-savvy market with significant potential for people to trade more pre-loved items.”
Active in 12 countries across Europe
With the launch in Italy, Vinted is now active in 12 markets across Europe. Aside from this Southern European country, the marketplace runs its platform of secondhand fashion in The United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg ,Spain, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania. It’s also active in the United States.
In October this year, Vinted acquired its Dutch competitor United Wardrobe, only one year after Vinted launched in the Netherlands. Last year, the ecommerce company raised 128 million euros, money it wanted to use to accelerate its rapid growth across Europe. Vinted.it is the latest result of that ambition.
