Swiss online couponing site DeinDeal.ch was rewarded as the Swiss ecommerce champion of 2015, during this year's Swiss E-Commerce Awards. But a great deal of the attention also went to Farmy.ch, who won the Newcomer and Startup award, as well as the main category Body & Soul.

Last night, the winners of the European E-Commerce Awards have been announced. During the Global E-commerce Summit that takes place in Barcelona, awards were handed out in the Entrepreneurial, Omnichannel and Pure Player categories. And we've got all the winners listed for you.

Online retailer Yoox just has been named global e-retailer of the year during the Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition. The awards ceremony that took place in Chicago, honors online retailers from all over the world whit outstanding achievements across multiple categories.

The Global E-commerce Summit, that takes place on 9 and 10 June, will again be the place for the European E-commerce Awards. In three categories, online retailers from all over Europe can win a prestigious award. Now, in two of these categories, the nominees are already known and we have them for you.

Coolblue, the omnichannel retailer with 323 specialized web stores and 7 physical stores in the Netherlands and Belgium, has won a prestigious award for being the best online store in the Netherlands. This was revealed during the Nationale Thuiswinkel Awards, where winners were chosen in 15 different categories.

The World Retail Awards were handed out for the eight time and again Vente-Privee got rewarded with the title of Pure Player of the Year. It's the second time the French shopping community wins this international award. H&M became the International Retailer of the Year, while John Lewis was the Omnichannel Retailer of the Year.

The Mobile Innovations Award is a new award show for the EMEA region, to celebrate the enormous growth and innovation in mobile technology. Last week, the awards got presented in the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London and we have the full list of winners.

Pure player Zooplus is the big winner of the Online-Handels-Awards an German award show hosted by ECC Cologne, the German Retail Federation and Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt's management forum, in association with Hermes. Second place was shared by Amazon and online music store Musikhaus Thomann.

There were several European online shops rewarded with an award at the World Retail Awards 2013 in Paris. Tesco, Debenhams, Migros and Vente-privee.com were among the winners who went home with a prize. Awards were handed in categories like ‘pure play retailer of the year’ and ‘best new retail launch’.
