Yesterday, the Ecommerce Awards 2021 were handed out. The award show was a part of the Ecommerce Expo, and took place virtually due to coronavirus regulations. A total of 21 different ecommerce players won awards.

Amazon has launched the first edition of the Amazon Launchpad Innovation Awards. This is a European competition designed to support innovative startups. The best company will win the 'Startup of the year' prize of 100,000 euros.

The Shop-Awards 2020 were handed out. This award show is organized by Internet World Business and praises the best online stores in Germany. A total of 17 different online retailers won an award.

At the start of the Christmas season, Amazon has honored small and medium-sized enterprises with the Amazon Verkaufspartner-Awards (Amazon Selling Partner Awards). Customers of Amazon Germany chose their favorite companies in the categories 'Partner of the year', 'Innovation champion of the year' and 'export champion of the year'.

Online store PcComponentes is the absolute winner of the Ecommerce Awards Spain. The popular online tech store won the prize that's meant for a company that achieved excellence in both its online and offline strategies, marketing, its adaptability and its great results.

Picnic, the popular online-only supermarket from the Netherlands, has won an ecommerce prize in Germany. At the Shop-Award 2019, the company went home with the award for Retailer of the Year.

The winners of the FDIH E-handelsprisen 2018 were revealed and online supermarket Nemlig.com won the main award. At the same event, Too Good To Go was rewarded with the title of best newcomer, while the 19-year old Daniel Johannesen was named the best ecommerce entrepreneur.

Last Monday, it was time for the Shop-Award 2018, an award show organized by Internet World Business. This event praises the best online stores in Germany and other German-speaking countries. This year's edition saw ecommerce companies such as About You and Mymuesli go home with the coveted trophies.

The online stores of Coolblue, Viata and Luxury for Men have been rewarded with the Twinkle Awards. Coolblue won an award for being the best omnichannel player in Belgium, while Viata went home with an award for best pure player. Luxury for Men was rewarded with an award for best starter.

Online pharmacist Apotea has been rewarded with an award for being Sweden's most favorite online store. The online-only pharmacist is followed closely by Adlibris and CDON. It's the first time PostNord has organized this competition, which is solely based on consumer votes.

This month, Swedish fashion retailer Chiquelle won the Global E-commerce Award at this year's Global E-commerce Summit. The company's pitch won 52 percent of the audience vote, thereby beating Indian online grocery store Big Basket and Swedish furniture manufacturer Ikea. We interviewed CEO and co-founder Pouya Boland about the award and the latest developments, including expanding to more countries.

The online store Galaxus.ch has been honored as the ecommerce champion of 2017 in Switzerland. The online shop of Digitec Galaxus AG received the most important Swiss E-Commerce Award during the sixth edition of this award show.

The organization behind the Global E-Commerce Summit has announced the nominees for its annual awards. In two categories, brands and retailers from across Europe compete for the jury's favor. Finalists then need to present their elevator pitch, after which the GES audience will vote to decide which finalists will take home the awards.

From 20 to 22 June, the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Center in London will be all bout ecommerce. Because that's where and when eTail Europe will take place. The organization expects this to be their best-attended event ever and with developments such as Brexit, there is of course lots to talk about.

Ecommerce personalization software provider PureClarity has won an award during the European IT & Software Excellence Awards. The British company won the prize in the category 'Big Data, IoT or Analytics Solution of the Year', beating Datawright, Celaton and LogiAnalytics.
