From 20 to 22 June, the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Center in London will be all bout ecommerce. Because that's where and when eTail Europe will take place. The organization expects this to be their best-attended event ever and with developments such as Brexit, there is of course lots to talk about.

Ecommerce personalization software provider PureClarity has won an award during the European IT & Software Excellence Awards. The British company won the prize in the category 'Big Data, IoT or Analytics Solution of the Year', beating Datawright, Celaton and LogiAnalytics.

Douglas has won an award during the annual Internet World Business Shop Awards show earlier this week. The German perfume and cosmetics retailer went home with an award for being the best multichannel retailer. Other winners are About You, Borussia Dortmund and Winekiki.

Online pet supply store Zooplus has been chosen as the best online store in Germany. The German company left online perfumery Flaconi and music store Thomann behind, while it also won a Deutscher Online-Handel Award in the category Fast-Moving Consumer Goods.

Online fashion store Zoot.cz has won the APEK E-commerce Award for the most innovative and original online store in the Czech Republic in the past year. The awards was handed out to the online retailer during the E-Business Forum, a conference organized by Czech ecommerce association APEK.

Zalando, Adidas and Danish ecommerce player Aarstiderne are the winners of the 6th annual European E-commerce Awards. These brands went home with respectively the Pure-Player Award, the Omni-channel Award and the Entrepreneurial Award during the Global E-commerce Summit.

Promofarma has won the award for Best Webshop in Spain. The online marketplace that's filled with products from local pharmacies won the most important prize during the Ecommerce Awards, an event hosted by Club Ecommerce last week.

ExLibris.ch may call themselves the ecommerce champion of Switzerland for a full year after winning such an award during the Swiss E-commerce Awards. The ecommerce website follows in the footsteps of DeinDeal, PKZ, Zalando and Freitag.

Imagine Commerce was held last week, bringing together over 2,500 Magento merchants, partners, developers and retail experts. Imagine Excellence Awards were handed out for exceptional creative, innovative and successful merchants across the global Magento ecoystem. Several European companies went home with such an award.

Online retailer Bol.com was awarded with a prize for best online store in the Netherlands. The Ahold-owned ecommerce player won this award during the annual Thuiswinkel Awards Gala, a popular event which honors the best ecommerce players in the Dutch retail industry.

Cyberphoto, a Swedish online retailer where customers can buy photography equipment, has won an award for best online retailer of the year. It has won this prize for the third consecutive year. Mobile payments company iZettle was rewarded the company of the year award, while Media Markt became the retailer of the year.

Dutch lingerie brand Hunkemöller is the winner of the Webshop Award Europe as well as of the Cross Channel Award Europe. It won these two awards during the election of the retailer of the year in Europe. The Retailer of the Year Awards were handed out in nine European countries and of all the winners a European winner was announced in three different categories.

eShopWorld, which offers modules for cross-border retailers, has been ranked number one in the local Deloitte Technology Fast 50. This list ranks the fastest growing technology companies in Ireland based on average percentage revenue growth over four years. eShopWorld achieved growth of more than 9,900 percent during this period.

Vente-privee.com is known for its online flash sales, but the France-founded retailer is making a name for itself as a company with an excellent customer service. It was awarded "best customer service of the year" in the United Kingdom for the second year in a row. Such awards it previously got in France and Spain as well.

House of Fraser was the absolute winner of the Internet Retailing Awards, which were handed out last Thursday. The British department store group went home with three awards. It won the Innovation award, the Mobile award and the Judges' award. The 5-star luxury hotel Mandarin Oriental in London was where it all happened last week. According to the organization, ‘leading lights’ of the ecommerce and multichannel industries in the United Kingdom attended this event which was all about who would go home as a winner.
