German supermarket Lidl will start selling food online. The discount supermarket chain will start with a local experiment in Berlin this December. With Lidl selling foods and drinks online, its parent company Schwarz Gruppe is really pushing towards ecommerce. Another subsidiary, supermarket Kaufland, has started selling online recently.

Dutch Bol.com shows again strong growth

Dutch Bol.com shows again strong growth

Bol.com, the biggest online store in the Netherlands, continued its strong performance and reported growth in net consumer sales again. Together with Dutch online grocer Ah.nl, both are owned by Ahold Delhaize, the online business showed more than 30 percent growth during the second quarter, compared to the same period last year.
