Engineering distributor group Troy UK has launched a new B2B2C platform. The platform, called Troy Commerce, allows members to procure products from the Order hub, but also enables them to design their own ecommerce stores.

Bookshop.org is a new initiative that wants to support local independent booksellers. After a successful launch in the US earlier this year, the platform has now launched in the United Kingdom.

Amazon.se has officially launched. Starting today, customers in Sweden can start buying items from the local Amazon website. Amazon Sweden currently offers over 150 million products across more than 30 categories.

The Czech company Nulisec has launched an online business-to-business marketplace for retailers. The platform started out as project to digitize the local wholesale business center in Prague, but turned into an online wholesale marketplace with thousands of businesses.

Amazon Sweden will probably open its digital doors next year. The upcoming launch of a dedicated Amazon website in Sweden has now been officially announced. It would be the first time Amazon launches in a Nordic country.

Shavatar is the name of a 3D avatar tool that should lead to fewer returns in the online fashion industry. With Shavatar, consumers can create their own avatars based on a few parameters. The tool then suggests the right size and fit of any given fashion item.

Rohlík, an online supermarket from the Czech Republic, has announced plans to launch in Germany. The expansion was originally planned for 2025. But due to the current high demand for online grocery shopping, the start is brought forward. Rohlík is expected to launch in Munich by the end of this year.

Facebook has launched its own ecommerce platform called Facebook Shops. The service can be used on both Facebook and Instagram, with the products displayed through pages, stories and advertisements. In the future, placing an order in WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram Direct will also be possible.

Nuet Aquavit says it is the first Norwegian company ever to sell spirits online. The startup offers its products from their own website with global delivery. The drinks are not for sale in Norway itself. That's because sales of alcoholic beverages have to go through state-owned channels.

H&M Group has announced the online expansion of five of its brands. This month, COS, Weekday, Monki, & Other Stories and Arket will have their collections available online in nine new markets across Europe.

FC Barcelona has launched its own ecommerce channel for the sale of products from the Barça Store at Camp Nou. In the online store, fans will find club merchandising and retail items. There are also items that can only be bought at point of sales managed directly by the club.
