Major marketplace from the United Kingdom, OnBuy, announced that it will reward its entire workforce with over 1 million euros in share options this month. The news follows the announcement of an anticipated IPO and international expansion.

With the strong growth in ecommerce across Europe, also comes a strong growth in marketplaces. European online marketplaces are estimated to value around 120 to 150 billion euros. But the markets for online marketplaces differ per country.

eBay has signed a partnership agreement with InPost, the Polish ecommerce delivery company. Sellers on eBay now get access to InPost's parcel lockers throughout the UK. The move will provide sellers with more flexible postal solutions.

Online fashion giant Zalando has launched a Care & Repair program, starting with pilots in Germany as of this month. There are plans to launch the program in other European markets as well. Sweden and Poland are possible prospects, since customers from these countries wear repaired clothes most often, Zalando's new survey finds.

The biggest online store in the Netherlands and Belgium, Bol.com, saw a growth of 15 million visitors per month on the Dutch website compared to Q3 last year. The Belgian website had 2 million extra visitors. With a steady growth of selling partners on the platform, the product range grew with 42 percent in one year.

MediaMarkt is about to launch its new marketplace feature across Europe. The platform has already launched in beta stage in Germany, Austria and Spain. Next up on the list is the Netherland. After that, the marketplace will expand further across the Benelux.

Shopee, a popular online shopping platform from Singapore, is ready to make its debut in Europe. The ecommerce company is preparing to launch in Poland. The company is part of Sea, whose gaming arm Garena is already active in Europe.

Berlin Brands Group has secured 700 million dollars (590 million euros) of additional debt and equity financing. The millions of euros were raised for the acquisition of ecommerce brands and the development of an international logistics network.

Dutch ecommerce acquisition company Dwarfs has attracted 30 million euros in debt financing from European investor North Wall Capital. Dwarfs has used the money to acquire four online shops that are active in the lifestyle and home furnishing industry.

Receiving packages from outside the European Union will become a little easier for customers and retailers in the Czech Republic. Czech Post (Česká pošta) has announced that it will cooperate with online marketplace Wish.

Add to Cart is a new ecommerce marketplace from the United Kingdom. It wants to compete with other online marketplaces by focusing primarily on supporting small scale businesses. The marketplace works alongside sellers' existing sales platforms.

BigBuy has extended its connector for selling on Amazon marketplaces. Now, retailers can start selling BigBuy products on the Amazon marketplaces in Poland and Sweden. With this expansion, all European Amazon marketplaces are covered by BigBuy.
