Slovenia-based startup CartFox is launching a new feature: post-purchase SMSes. The company offers automated abandoned cart text messages to online retailers. With the new function, sellers can give customers additional discounts after placing an order.

Belgian software startup Garvis has raised 3.5 million euros. The company uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to predict stock levels. Garvis will use the funds to develop its platform and accelerate international expansion.

The company is a year and a half old, but already has over 500 customers. With new features coming out this year, it expects to continue growing its customer base.

Spanish software startup Stockagile has raised 2.5 million euros in seed capital. With the funds, the company wants to further develop its omnichannel management software and marketing strategy. The company aims to be a ‘leader in omnichannel sales management in the retail sector’.

BigCommerce has announced that it will expand into Denmark, Norway, Austria and Sweden. The expansion comes six months after its launch in Germany and Spain. Sellers of all sizes can build their online store with local storefronts.

Leading ecommerce platform Shopify is shutting down its dropshipping extension, Oberlo. Sellers who want to use the app to fulfill their dropshipping business via AliExpress can no longer find it in the App Store. Shopify is transitioning to another dropshipping solution developed by DSers.
